1.Red Keep
Lovrijenac Fort is set for Red Keep and the bay below was the set for Black-water Bay in season 2. The fleet of Stannis Baratheon sails into Blackwater Bay as a prelude to an attack on King’s Landing. Tyrion Lannister destroys part of the fleet with wildfire, but this only manages to delay the landing of a significant number of Stannis’ troops, triggering the Battle of the Blackwater. Lovrijenac fort also known as Dubrovnik Gibraltar is fort located at the cliff 37 meters above sea level. It is known as scenic area and symbol of Dubrovnik resistance against Venice Republic.
2.Pile Gates
Main gates of Dubrovnik and the busiest spot in the City was great place to film the scene of Riot against King Jofferey. On the way back to the castle, as the king’s party rides up the Hook at the foot of Aegon’s High Hill, a woman walks out of the crowd with a dead baby and blocks the way. Sansa Stark encourages the king to win the people by throwing the woman some gold, but the woman ignores the coins as they fall around her and continues to hold the baby before her. Someone throws dung at the king, and Jofferey order was to kill the all when fight escalate. End of this scene was filmed in Saint Lawrence Fort.
3.Bokar Fortres
It was used in season 2 and 3 as ramparts of Kings Landing and interior of House of Undying. in Quarth. Bokar Fortres defended the entrance to the City, as did the draw bridge and moat in the Pile area.
4.Rector Palace
Built in late 15th century this palace was home of Dubrovnik Rector. Rector was nobleman elected for one month to represent Dubrovnik Republic. This palace was used to for shooting in season 2.
Khaleesi tries to negotiate with spice King to give her a fleet of ships to transfer Dothraki overseas.
5.Dominican Street
This beautiful street is passing near Dominican Monastery and it is leading to Revelin Fortress located on the east entrance of the City. In the Game of Thrones it was used for the market scenes in season 2, end of Walk of Shame and ending of season 7 when light snow start to fall down on Kings Landing. Just short after filming Dubrovnik gets under the snow coat.
6.Jesuit Staircase
Jesuit Staircase are most popular filming location in the Old Town, the steps of the Great Sept of Baelor in King’s Landing . Game of Thrones end of season 5 where Cercei Lannister took her walk of shame. It is also the location of Lord Tywin’s funeral procession. On this place today you can see people scream “shame, shame, shame” while snapping photos.
7.Brothel
Today Ethnographic Museum in history Dubrovnik granary. Dubrovnik Republic keep all state reserves of grain in deep silos called Rupe. Building of old granary served as the exterior of Little Fingers brothel.
8.House of the Undying
The highest point on Dubrovnik City Walls is Minceta Tower. This fort is symbol of Dubrovnik Republic defense. It is the place where Khaleesi finds entrance into the House of the Undying.
